About Stefan Morgan Dunn
Stefan Morgan Dunn, MSc, RCT, Cert. Med, CCPA Prof. Reg.
Registered Clinical Therapist | Virtual Sessions | MondayFriday until 6 PM EST
I’m Stefan, a Registered Clinical Therapist with over a decade of experience supporting men, individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging moments. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect, offering a steady, nonjudgmental presence to those who feel misunderstood, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
My path to psychotherapy began during my ten years as a divorce mediator, where I witnessed firsthand the power of repair in relationships. One pivotal case, a family on the brink of separation who chose to rebuild instead, reshaped my understanding of healing and connection. That experience inspired me to complete my Master of Science in Applied Psychology, specializing in mental health, and dedicate my career to helping people move toward growth, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
How I Work
I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and supported, whether you’re working through personal struggles, relationship dynamics, or family challenges.
Therapy for Men
Men often feel pressure to “hold it together,” leaving emotions bottled up and relationships strained. At Men’s Mental Health Institute, I provide a space where men can talk openly, release shame, and build skills to navigate life’s challenges, without judgment. Whether you’re facing stress, anger, addiction, trauma, or emotional disconnection, therapy is a step toward reclaiming balance and confidence.
For Couples
Relationships can feel like a dance, one partner pursuing, the other withdrawing, leaving both feeling lonely and unheard. Together, we can explore the patterns that keep you stuck, rebuild trust, and create a deeper, more authentic connection.
For Individuals
If you’ve ever felt “too much” for others to handle, struggled with anxiety, depression, or intense emotions, or battled the effects of trauma, you’re not alone. I help clients find their emotional voice, develop selfacceptance, and create balance, without feeling they must fight for validation.
Addiction & Family Dynamics
Addiction affects far more than the person using, it touches every family member. I help individuals and families understand this difficult journey, set healthy boundaries, break enabling cycles, and rebuild trust at any stage of recovery.
Areas of Focus:
No matter your story, I aim to offer a space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered. Healing is not a solo path, it’s a process we walk together. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out for a consultation so we can begin the work of transforming your story.
