About Juliana Roman

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Dance Movement Specialist

You’ve already taken a brave step by being here. Seeking support isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most powerful moves you can make. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, personal transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I’m here to help you reconnect with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

As a therapist, I combine evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy with creative, body-based tools from Dance Movement Therapy. I specialize in helping men work through relationship struggles, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-worth, and burnout. Together, we work on strengthening the connection between mind, body, and emotions because real transformation happens when all parts of you are invited in.

I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Dance Movement Rehabilitation. My background includes working with high-risk youth, couples, adults navigating trauma, and individuals with chronic pain, PTSD, or neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I’ve also supported clients through identity exploration, boundary setting, and emotional resilience, especially in the context of masculinity and relationships.

Therapy with me isn’t about judgment or quick fixes. It’s a space to feel seen, unpack what’s heavy, and take grounded action toward the life and relationships you want.

And when I’m not in session, I’m usually dancing in the kitchen, grooving to old-school funk, or hitting the slopes with my snowboard. I’m also a proud Chihuahua mom my pup keeps me humble, alert, and endlessly entertained.

Let’s talk. You don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to wait until things fall apart to start rebuilding.
